Who Needs to Use this Remover?
Only those people who are already using ArtValve 1.0 need to use this Remover. ArtValve 1.0 had to be installed directly into the America Online (AOL) application in order to work. Even if you still have the original ArtValve 1.0 installer, which has a remove button in it, I recommend using this Remover instead, because it does more thorough error checking.
ArtValve 2.0 is not compatible with version 1.0, so please remove version 1.0 with this Remover before using version 2.0.
Removing Art Valve 1.0
To completely remove Art Valve 1.0 from your AOL application:
1) Turn off any anti-virus software you have. Exit the Remover if you need to do that first (Quit button).
2) Press the Remove button in this window.
3) A standard file dialog will appear.
4) Locate and open your AOL application.
5) A message will appear indicating if removal was successful.
6) Quit.
7) Turn your anti-virus software back on.
This will restore your AOL application to normal. Follow the directions in the Read Me file for ArtValve 2.0 to set up its control panel.
